About The Artist

Gabriel Auguste explores the violence of both the body and the heart with a pop sound that’s sensitive to the changing moods of the weather — leading to both love and its eventual break-up, from the first caresses to the final distance.
This solitary wanderer traverses the sunlit shores of feelings, but also the darker side of the fall, the tremors, and the low blows.

Classic themes of love songs, reinterpreted through the eye and voice of this hermit, who watches us live from a distance.

Gabriel left the dark, rock world of his band Wall Of Death for a sound with Anglo-Saxon musical influences (think Robert Wyatt, Kevin Ayers) blended with the breath of French poetry.
In doing so, he carves his own musical path, free from the constraints of traditional French chanson, which he does not feel bound by, granting him his freedom.
