NTO’s story is one of a defining encounter — between a kid from the South of France and the world of electronic music. It all began after a life-changing trip to the Sziget Festival at age 18, followed by countless nights spent at two of Montpellier’s iconic clubs: La Villa Rouge and Bar Live. At the time, German minimal techno was booming, and Anthony Favier fell head over heels for artists like Stephan Bodzin, James Holden, and an emerging Paul Kalkbrenner — “the biggest musical crush of my life,” he recalls.
It was the evocative power of melodies, the raw force of the kick drum, and the unifying spirit of the dancefloor that ignited his passion for music production — skipping the traditional DJ route altogether. But another key encounter helped shape his path: meeting Worakls and Joachim Pastor, with whom he co-founded the Hungry Music label in 2013. From the Olympia in Paris to the massive crowds at Vieilles Charrues, NTO sharpened his live performance skills and grew into a commanding stage presence.
Breakthrough tracks like Trauma and La Clé des Champs, now with millions of streams, launched NTO onto the international scene — from the Netherlands and Germany to Eastern Europe and Canada. His music, steeped in emotion and melodic intensity, continues to resonate across borders, turning every set into a powerful collective experience.
