PANO RAP FESTIVAL is coming to Morlaix!
A little sibling of the Panoramas festival, this brand-new event celebrating urban music is taking place at SEW.
Emerging Artists and Headliners
For over three years, the Wart association has been running the “Pano Rap Contest,” which supports developing local rap projects from Brittany through coaching and residencies. The success of this initiative convinced the Morlaix association to dedicate an entire event to it, showcasing rap culture and blending established artists with emerging talents from the Pano Rap Contest.
A Rap Tradition in Morlaix
The PANO RAP Festival is part of the ongoing love story between the Panoramas festival and rap, a relationship that has lasted for over 25 years. Legends like Orelsan, Public Enemy, Vald, RZA, Method Man, and Redman, as well as current talents such as La Rumeur, Lorenzo, Georgio, Disiz, Meryl, and Prince Waly, have set the Morlaix stages on fire. While Panoramas now focuses on an electro-techno aesthetic, the PANO RAP Festival keeps this tradition alive by offering a 100% urban music lineup.
